Sugar Plantation Condominiums

The Sugar Plantation Condominiums project converted the former Standard Building Supply & Hardware building, an 1890s-era structure that once housed heavy cable, buckets, bolts, and other construction supplies, into luxury living space and retail opportunities. The scope involved the historic preservation and renovation of this building into 43 unique luxury residential units along with a health spa, community room, courtyard with pool, and covered parking in the historic Warehouse and Arts District of New Orleans. In addition, McDonnel added a 3rd floor to the original 2-story structure.
